The Illusive McDonald’s McRib Sandwich Returning Briefly
October 14th, 2010 - 10:46 pm ICT by Angela Kaye MasonOct 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to the Wall Street Journal, the McDonald’s McRib sandwich is a “boneless pork patty molded into the shape of a rib slab and adorned with pickles, onions and barbecue sauce on a bun.” This sandwich has been appearing and vanishing randomly from various McDonald’s menus ever since 1981, and is soon to reappear once more, this time on all of the McDonald’s menus at once.
McRib fans everywhere anxiously wait for the return of their favored sandwich. It is due to be back on November 2, and will be vanishing again after a month and a half.
The phenomenon that is the McRib has managed to create quite a fan club, including over 300 Facebook pages dedicated to the delicious American treat. The page “Bring Back the McRib Please” has over 500 fans.
