‘The Hunger Game’ casts its District 3 tributes

Los Angeles, April 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ian Nelson and Kalia Prescott has been added to the cast of the movie “The Hunger Game.” The movie is the adaptation of Suzanne Collins book.

The story is about a group of children who are made to fight to death as part of a reality show. Nelson’s character is expected to be a tribute from District 3. Kalia will also be a female tribute from the same district in the movie which is expected to hit the theaters next year.

According to the story in the novel, the character that has been assigned to Kalia will bid her mother an emotional goodbye when her name is mentioned as a tribute. As her parents and siblings watched her, Kalia responded to the call for her to go into battle.

Nelson’s character is expected to be a technology and electronics savvy guy and the Career Tributes will exploit that to their advantage in the movie. Some other casts for the movie have been confirmed.

Production of the movie is expected to start soon. The movie is expected to hit the theaters on the 23rd of March 2012.
