Nov 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This is the 17th season of “The Amazing Race” and it is undoubtedly amazing to see the contestants rush from St.Petersburg to Muscat, Oman, the land of mystery and enchantment. Last segment’s winners Nat and Kat were the first ones to find the clues that their next destination would be Oman where they must reach the Burj Mubkhara fort to get their next clue for the task.

Viewers got to watch a funny episode as Chad and Stephanie were seen sleeping during the departure time while rest of the teams were seen to rush to the same travel agency so that they could catch the best flight to Oman. Nat and Kat along with the team of Brook and Claire catch the earliest flight while Nick and Vicki, Gary and Mallory, and Jill and Thomas get on a plane which was late by one hour and forty minutes. With every one already on their way to Oman Chad and Stephanie, finally gear up after one hour and fifty-two minutes past their departure time and find a plane scheduled to arrive only ten minutes later than the second flight.

But as fortune favors the lucky ones, Chad and Stephanie’s flight instead arrives early and they reach before the second flight adding a twist which this causes some tension in Jill and Thomas who are not so pleased to see their fellow contestants arriving. On the whole it was quite an exciting episode to catch with Chad proposing to Stephanie and the teams hunting out for the magic lamp for Aladdin’s ring and later on competing in the ‘water-table’ versus ‘wedding-table’ tasks ending with Gary and Mallory’s elimination.
