Texas Woman Wins Lottery for the Fourth Time

July (THAINDIAN NEWS) Joan R Ginther from Bishop, Texas has won the Texas lottery not once, not even twice, not just three times, but has just won her FOURTH Texas lottery, and purchased three of the four tickets in Bishop.

Joan has bought two out of the four winning tickets at the same store, a ‘Times Market’. The store’s manager, Bob Stolis stated “It is a very lucky store.” Th store owner, Sun Bae is the one who sold both winning tickets to Ginther.

The store sells around a thousand lottery tickets each day, and will now be eligible for another ten thousand dollar bonus for selling a winning ticket. It is the second such bonus won by the store, for a ticket bought by the same person.

Sixty three year old Joan Ginther paid 50 dollars for the Extreme Payout scratch off ticket that she won 10 million dollars with, which is the top prize in that lottery. Her totals winnings are over 20 million dollars.

She won her first 5.4 million dollars back in 1993 on a ticket which was bought in Bishop, and chose to take 270 thousand dollars every year for 19 years. In 2006, she went to visit her father in Bishop, and once again won the top prize, which was 2 million on the ‘Holiday Millionaire Game’ ticket which she paid 30 dollars for. That time she took a lump sum payment of 1.5 million dollars.

In 2008, the lucky lady won 3 million dollars after winning ‘Millions and Millions’ which was another scratch off ticket purchased at the ‘Times Market’. Ginther now lives in Los Vegas and does not want publicity.
