Texas man arrested in New Orleans with 23 kilograms of cocaine
February 10th, 2010 - 4:56 am ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA (BNO NEWS) – A resident of Robstown, Texas was arrested for possession with intent to distribute cocaine, U.S. Attorney Jim Letten announced on Tuesday.
Alejandro Soliz, 29, was arrested by the Louisiana State Police after a motor carrier safety inspection on Interstate 12 on February 6, 2010. The troopers found inside the defendant’s tractor trailer approximately 23 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
Mr. Soliz faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, a $4 million fine and five years of supervised release if he is found guilty.
