NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) – A Texas fugitive on Thursday was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Joint Bank Robbery Task Force for his role in a 22-year-old murder case, the FBI said.

Theodore Emerson Dominguez, also known as Carlos Badillo, was arrested in the early hours of Thursday. He surrendered peacefully to the agents at his workplace in Brooklyn, New York.

Dominguez is wanted for allegedly murdering his ex-girlfriend’s new lover in Harris County, Texas in 1988. He is also wanted for forfeiture for skipping bond during his trial.

“The investigation and arrest conducted by New York FBI agents led to the safe capture of Dominguez and we were pleased that we could assist our law enforcement partners in Texas,” Special Agent Richard Kolko in New York said.
