Terminal at JFK re-opened after security breach
January 17th, 2010 - 1:38 pm ICT by BNO NewsNEW YORK CITY (BNO NEWS) — A security breach Saturday at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport caused authorities to evacuate one of its terminals, authorities said.
“Terminal 8 at JFK is being evacuated due to police activity,” the New York City Office of Emergency Management said in a statement. “Expect flight and traffic delays.”
The terminal was later reopened around 6:15 p.m. EDT.
