Jacksonville, June 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A teenager is the record holder in the juggling world after he managed to complete 26 catches with 10 balls. The Juggling Information Service Committee on Numbers made the revelation recently.

According to the committee, David Ferman of Jacksonville managed to achieve his feat on the 28th of May. David is a student of The Bolles School. His achievement bettered the previous record of 23 catches with 10 balls which had been the record since 2001. That record belonged to Bruce Sarafian.

David gave an interview after the announcement. He said that, “It took until I lost count of how many catches, and that allowed me to break through the mental barrier, just push through. I actually had to go back and watch the slow-motion replay and count the catches.”

David is already a household name in the sport. Last year he won the nine-ball endurance competition as well as the freestyle juggling game. The event was held at the World Juggling Federation conference in Las Vegas.

He is expected to be part of the event again this year when it is held at Springfield, Ill on the 5th to the 11th of July.
