Teen Charged With Raping And Murdering Teacher

Cheltenham, England, July 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 14 year old boy from the Cheltenham Youth Facility in Prince George’s County has been charged with first degree murder and attempt to rape by local courts on Wednesday. In an incident which took place about five months ago, the young boy from Cheltenham had attempted to rape his teacher. However the name of the adolescent has not been revealed by the law authorities since he is still a juvenile and has also been produced in court as one.
It has been reported that the teenager was 13 years of age at the time of the incident. He has turned 14 in the month of July this year. The unnamed youth has been held responsible for the death of his 65 year old teacher Hannah E. Wheeling. Five months back the dead body of his instructor was located by another staff of the Youth Facility center. According to statements made by this staff member to the authorities, the body of Hannah E. Wheeling was lying half naked when he first spotted her at around 7:45 in the morning when the death was first discovered.
If charges against the youth are proven in court and he stands convicted to first degree murder, it may mean that the boy will be subjected to prison for life without parole. It is also possible that the 14 year old may face lifetime imprisonment for an attempt to first degree rape coupled with first degree sex offense.
While prosecutors have said that they will try the youth in court as an adult, the decision regarding whether they can really do this is still pending. If the prosecutors lose, it will mean that the youth will be housed at a juvenile facility till he attains the age of 21.
