The man who until two days back was both jobless and homeless in currently in possession of both. The vagabond whose condition seized the attention of the media has now earned a job as an announcer with the famed Cleveland Cavaliers due to his golden voice.

It was no less than a miracle after what happened to the 53 year old man who was a drug addict and alcoholic. In the course of his addictions he had lost his job and got detached from his family. The man who started spending his days at the roadside could be traced with a sign board in his hands. The message that the board had on it cited that he had a God gifted voice and that he would only talk to someone when they would offer him a dollar. Until two days back this was how he used to earn his living. The former radio announcer has nine children.

His unusual story drew the attention of a certain newspaper who showcased his talent. The Internet was flooded with the story of this man whose golden voice instantly became a hit and bagged him a job with the Cavaliers. It has also been reported that Ted Williams is also being considered for jobs with NFL Films and other commercial announcement offers. Wednesday saw Ted Williams spending the entire afternoon at a courthouse in Ohio where he was busy gathering vital documents necessary for identification before he could board a flight to New York to see his 92 year old mother.
