Hatch, Oct 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The owners of Sparky’s Burgers, BBQ and Expresso are in the news again and more appropriately they are at odds with the law again.

The owners, Teako and Josie Nunn have been asked to remove a 12 feet rooster from their 1964 Chevrolet because it constitutes off-premise advertising.

The couple was in the news ten months ago when authorities disputed a similar incident with a fiberglass pig. It seems were are set for a repeat of that incident again this time around.

However with the current incident, authorities believe that the inscription on the giant rooster which reads “soft served ice cream” violates the city’s laws are they will either have to register and pay up or remove the rooster from the car. Aside the inscription on the giant rooster, the couple has also designed T-shirts that have the words “Save the Rooster” inscribed on it.

The previous incident was resolved in February this year when the state officials allowed the couple to use the huge fiberglass pig as an off-premises billboard and subsequently charged them for the cost.

It is not clear how the current incident is going to end.
