Nov 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In Mebane of north Carolina a new Tanger outlet opened on Friday. This became the third outlet of the company in North Carolina. The timing is just apt as the shopping season is ahead. The opening ceremony was attended by Steven B. Tanger who is the CEO and president of the Tanger center. Of course there was a nice inaugural day offer. Those who were present at the opening ceremony got the chance to buy stuffs at $180 which were worth $380. The organizers were elated to see that the rush of the crowd exceeded their expectation and this led to traffic chaos in the roads adjacent to the outlet.
Those who could not make it to the opening of the store need not feel sad as they still can get a $50 card. They need to mark the site in their Facebook profile for that. The residents who stay in the region are worried about the possibility of increasing traffic jams on the roads in near future. Since the outlet’s parking lot got full early on the opening day those who came later parked their cars in many places in the nearby roads. This obviously did not go down well with the residents. Some of them put no parking sign in front of their houses.
However, the excitement and enthusiasm of the shoppers was palpable. The outlet center took nearly one year to build and some people were eager to experience it on the opening day. The QVC and Coach outlets had the biggest queue. Some of the shoppers said that they will visit the outlet after a few days.
