KABUL (BNO NEWS) — The Taliban on Sunday claimed it attacked a U.S. base in southern Afghanistan using an explosive-laden donkey. BNO News could not independently confirm the claim.

The attack allegedly happened at a U.S. base in the Marjah district of Helmand province. A Taliban statement claimed it had sent an explosive-laden donkey to the base where it detonated as U.S. soldiers gathered around the animal. It said eleven U.S. soldiers were killed or injured in the attack.

The Taliban said the remote-controlled bomb attack was a new tactic, and called it one of the most bizarre detonations since the U.S.-led invasion began on October 7, 2001.

BNO News could not independently confirm the claim. Taliban statements are often exaggerated or completely untrue. A spokesman for the NATO-led ISAF alliance said it was not aware of an attack on a U.S. base, but said it would look into the claim.

This behaviour shows how bloody the taliban scoundrels are, who are just inhuman to this beautiful world and also to animals.
