Swedish Singer/DJ Basshunter Arrested on Sex Attack Charges
December 15th, 2010 - 1:50 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonDec 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Swedish singer and DJ, known as BassHunter has been charge by police in an alleged assault on two females which occurred at a night club in Scotland.
The twenty five year old ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ contestant was born as Jonad Erik Altberg. He has been released after making bail, and is scheduled to appear in the Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court sometime in January.
According to the ‘BBC’ a Fife County Constabulary spokesperson stated, “Police in Fife can confirm that a 25-year-old man has been arrested in relation to alleged offences committed at Kitty’s Nightclub, Hunter Street, Kirkcaldy, and has been bailed to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in due course.”
Scott Simons, who is the manager of Basshunter maintains that the statements are not true. The singer is believed to be back home in Sweden.
