Washington DC, Aug 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Orly Taitz, who is a leader in the Birther Movement would now have to cough up $20,000 in fines, because the Supreme Court has upheld it and refused to waive it off. It ought to be mentioned that in October 2009 a high court had ordered Orly to pay $20,000 as a fine as she had filed a ‘frivolous litigation’ in view of the court. It also ought to be mentioned that Orly had alleged that the current US President Barack Obama was born in Kenya and he hasn’t showcased his authentic birth certificate to the nation.

However the high court found her allegation to be ‘frivolous’ and asked the Californian lawyer and dentist to cough up $20,000 as fines. However Orly wasn’t bogged down by the order and she appealed against the decision in the Supreme Court. Justice Clarence Thomas heard her case and dismissed it and also refused to reject the fine. Then she filed a second appeal and this time around, Justice Samuel Alito on Monday refused steadfastly to block the fine. He also commented on the frivolous nature of the petition and said that Orly wanted to misuse the federal courts to better her own political chances.
