superman New York, Mar 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A Superman comic, which sold for $1.5 million, has shattered all previous records. The Superman comic was a copy of the 1938 edition of the Action Comics No. 1, and it was bought in an online auction by the generous owners of ComicConnect.com

In this landmark issue, Superman makes his debut, and its original price is just 10 cents. It has managed to lap up such a huge price, because firstly it is seen as the Holy Grail of the comic books and secondly because this issue was in a very good condition.

In February another comic book was auctioned and it also managed to be sold for $1 million. That was seen as a record, but in a short span of time, that record was broken again, when a Batman debut comic was also sold for $1 million. However the record has now been shattered again in the form of the debut of Superman comic, which has managed to raise an astonishing $1.5 million.
