Nov 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) When a French photographer’s ninety-one year old grandmother showed that she was feeling depressed and lonely, he decided to cheer her up by showing her that she was a hero in his eyes, and making her a hero in everyone else’s eyes as well.

Sacha Goldberger saw that his grandmother, Fredrika, (now known as “Super Mamika”) was showing signs of depression and came up with a very unique way of spending more time with her and giving her a boost of happiness. He decided to photograph the granny in spandex and a cape for a stunning shoot of her as a super hero in action.

Super Mamika is showed scaling buildings, and picking up cars while wearing a super hero costume which includes silver spandex, red shoes, and a helmet. After he blogged his photos, Super Mamika reached very unexpected fame, and she now has a Myspace with over 2200 friends. Her Facebook page now has over 6000 “likes”.

Fredrika was born in Budapest twenty years before World War II, and saved the lives of ten people while risking her own during the war. According to her grandson, “she hid the Jewish people she knew, moving them around to different places every day.” She immigrated from Hungary to France in order to save her own life.
