Michigan, Aug 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A stuntman died instantly when he tried a dangerous move. The 48-year-old man tried to grab a helicopter that was flying just above a biplane that he had positioned himself on. Todd Green lost his balance on the biplane and plunged to his death at the Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison, Michigan.

Spectators watched in horror as Green dropped 200ft from the sky. Interestingly, some of the spectators said they believed the fall was part the stunt that Green was trying until they saw him crash to the hard ground. There were about 75,000 spectators at the grounds with some saying they thought the falling Green was a dummy.

Officials at the fair said Green fell when he made the third attempt to grab on to the helicopter. The first two attempts had all failed.

A spectator Jeremy Mitchell told reporters that, ‘I thought it was part of the stunt. Even when the announcer said it wasn’t a part of the show, it still felt surreal. It wasn’t until the ambulance came that it set in.”

Paramedics rushed to save the life of Green but he died from the injuries that he had as a result of the crash impact. Green was a father of two.
