Huntsville, Feb 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Professor Amy Bishop, of the University of Alabama Huntsville, had rather odd manners that unsettled the students in the classroom, according to some of the students in the University who took her classes. Apparently, they had also complained to the authorities regarding this matter, not just one, but at least three times. Reportedly, even her methods of teaching in the classroom yielded no positive results. The students also reported that even a petition was sent to the head of the department, in which about a dozen students had signed. However, there were no changes in the classroom after that.
Professor Amy Bishop is currently in the custody of the police after she committed a brutal killing in the campus of the University of Alabama Huntsville. She had killed three faculty members, and had injured three others. It is believed that she had committed the murders in order to take revenge on the administration, as the University had denied her tenure last year. However, this is not the first time that Professor Amy Bishop had had a brush with the law. Earlier, she had been charged with a case of pipe bombing, and before that, she had been accused of fighting.
The recent revelation of the students of the University of Alabama Huntsville have given rise to the questions as to why no steps were taken even after the students complained. It is being speculated that the unfortunate deaths might ave been avoided had the authorities paid heed to the complaints of the students. Moreover, the previous criminal records of the woman should gave alerted the authorities even more.
