Warsaw, Poland, Jan 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A student artist found the perfect way to hang his painting at a famous Polish museum saying he did not want to wait for ages to have that privilege.

Andrzej Sobiepan is an art student at the Wroclaw Fine Arts Academy. He told newsmen that he managed to sneak the painting into the museum when the security man on duty was not paying attention. The museum has admitted that the event exposes a security breach at the family.

When Sobiepan placed the painting on display at the National Museum in the city of Wroclaw, it took the museum officials three days to realize what has happened.

On his motivation, Sobiepan said that, “I decided that I will not wait 30 or 40 years for my works to appear at a place like this. I want to benefit from them in the here and now.”

The museum plans to pay Sobiepan for his dare. They plan to keep the painting but they will not do it at the main gallery. Instead the painting will be placed at the café. A lucky buyer will have the chance to pick up the painting when it is offered for sale during an auction on Sunday.

Proceeds will be given to charity.
