Strips Clubs Are Shut As Fire Breaks Out On Baltimore’s Adult District

blazxeBaltimore, Dec 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A massive blaze that broke out in the red light district of Baltimore on Monday afternoon took its toll on the adult business in the area with large number of strip clubs and adult entertainment clubs being shut for the night. Fire fighting officials rushed to the area without any delay after the blaze was sparked at 4 in the afternoon and soon smoke engulfed the entire area resulting in almost a panic-situation.

The downtown Baltimore region where the fire was triggered on Monday is popularly known as The Block and is famous for its strip clubs as well other parlors of A-rated entertainment which are found in plenty in the area. Despite the fact that fire officials were successful in brining the situation under control by late Monday evening, most of the adult business parlors in the zone remained close while the adjoining streets in the region were also shut leading to huge traffic snarls. Club Pussycat and Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, which are tow of the most popular clubs in the red light district of Baltimore were also closed down after the fire incident although club officials have reiterated that they are intending to re-open later on Wednesday.

Joe Stinelli, the general manager of the Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, later told journalist that after the fire broke out, smoke was billowing even inside the club and consequently the it had to shut down without any delay. Despite the fact that any injuries owing to the blaze has not been reported till now, the business in many adult parlors in The Block has indeed been adversely affected.
