Millionaire adventurer, Steve Fossett who was reported disappearing last year, clues have been found by hikers on Tuesday.

Mammoth Lakes Police Department chief Randy Schienle reported that they found identity card with Fossett’s name on it and some cash in a mountainous area of eastern California .

The mysterious ID card did not have a photograph of Fossett on them and no plane wreckage was found near the items, therefore police officers were not sure it belongs to him.

However there is no plane wreckage was found in that area.

A lot of people believe Stephen Fossett have made up the story and fake his own death. Since in spite of using the best technology and plenty of resources, nobody has been able to find the remains of Fossett.

Stephen Fossett was reported missing September 3, 2007, and declared dead later on was an American aviator, sailor, and adventurer who became the first person to fly solo nonstop around the world in a balloon. He made his fortune in the financial services industry and was best known for many world records, including five nonstop circumnavigations of the Earth.
