Sprint Nextel Plans Adding 100 Workers To Its Customer Care Team

sprint-nextel-05-05-2008Dec.17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Leading mobile service provider Sprint Nextel, based in Kansas has decided to add 100 jobs to its call center located in Hampton. The third biggest wireless network provider of the USA is arranging a number of job fairs to recruit 100 deserving candidates. This is good news for the job seekers and residents of the area as the city and adjacent regions have witnessed widespread call center job closing and layoffs in the recent past. Hampton Contact Center’s general manager Gayle Chong said in his statement that Sprint is delighted to offer jobs to the people at a time when finding suitable career openings have become a problem for many.

Recruiting 100 new employees will also help Spring Nextel to offer improved customer service to its clients all over the country and it will be able to cope with the competition better. The job fair started on 16th December and it will continue till 21st January, 2010. According to Spring, the new employees would be offered attractive remuneration, medical allowances and performance incentives as per the industry standard. They will also get the opportunity to choose flexible timing.

Sprint has near about 750 employees working at the Hampton contact center at present. This is one of the top rated call centers of Sprint and it recently passed 10 years. The center is also associated with a number of social services that has made it quite popular. In USA Spring Nextel competes with wireless network providers like Verizon Wireless and AT&T.
