Southwest Airlines Plane Detected With A Hole

planeRecently, the Southwest Airlines plane that had been detected with a hole has been said to have no problem as such as reported by the spokeswoman of the Southwest airlines.

The spokes woman, Marilee McInnis has been reported saying that all of the 737-300 models of the airlines, one third of it’s all-737 fleet has been inspected thoroughly by the mechanics checking it all through the night and found nothing to be worrying about. She said that the Airlines is in operation from Tuesday morning.

The plane that has been detected with a hole equal to the size of a football has been known to be as old as 15 years. When the hole was detected, the plane made an emergency landing at the airport in Charleston, W.Va. Investigators were sent from the National Transportation Safety Board who immediately tried to check the cause of the hole in the fuel sage. According to the sources, the Transportation safety Board is being assisted by the representatives from Boeing and the Federal Aviation Administration.

On Monday when the event happened Michael Cunningham was on board. As the plane was traveling from Nashville to Baltimore, he said that he was deciding to go for a 30 minute nap when suddenly he heard a roar from the plane. He added that he immediately saw a hole which was near an overhead storage bin and was close to his head. Since a panic was raised in the flight, oxygen masks were dropped as reported by him. He was even quoted saying, “a couple of people were asking other passengers and the flight crew: ‘Is the Bag working? Is the mask working?’”

It has been known that the 131 passengers who were on board has been unharmed and were later placed on a flight bound to Baltimore on Monday night itself.
