Some Joseph Mengele documents found in a Warsaw house
March 23rd, 2010 - 9:41 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattWarsaw, Mar 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Some of the documents of Dr. Joseph Mengele have been found at a Warsaw home in Poland. Along with his documents, some other documents pertaining to Auschwitz death camp have also been unearthed there. The documents that have unearthed also include a ration coupon for sugar, as well as for butter too. On one of the documents the spelling of Dr. Joseph Mengele’s name is wrong, but all the same, the Auschwitz historians are saying that the documents belong to him only. Even though instead of ‘Mengele’ it is written as ‘Mergerle’, yet the historians are convinced that they refer to Dr. Joseph Mengele. They are so sure because they say that there is no one in the history of Auschwitz by that name.
It may be recalled that Dr. Joseph Mengele and other doctors and pharmacists at Auschwitz were responsible for taking part and conducting bizarre and inhuman experiments on the captured Jews. After World War II, Dr Joseph was lucky enough to escape, and was even successful in not being captured during his life term too.
Adam Cyra who is a historian at the Auschwitz Memorial Museum says that, “The sensational value of this discovery is in the fact that these original documents, bearing the names of main murderers from Auschwitz, were found so many years after the war.”
