While my prayers go out to the family of the deceased and the two injured, I still can’t fathom why folks are permitted to camp in tents in bear country; especially grizzly bear country. I couldn’t even imagine camping in a trailer. It is a challenge to their environment and us humans should know better.

what are you talking about? I tent camp in Yellowstone all the time. There are bear boxes in Yellowstone for your food and gear, even if your are in a hard sided unit. It is perfectly safe, most of the time, just be prepared with bear repellent etc.

reading all the information provide from the Wildlife department indicated the sow had parasite and was within acceptable weight. We fail to forget that these animals are still predators. I go camping a lot in the Colorado wilderness, but always make sure to store food properly. From what was reported they had their food stored in metal food bin and followed safety precautions.
