Small plane crashes into Austin building
February 18th, 2010 - 11:34 pm ICT by BNO NewsAUSTIN (BNO NEWS) — A small plane crashed into a building in northwest Austin, federal officials said.
Lynn Lunsford, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), said it was a small single-engine aircraft, but had no further details.
TV pictures showed heavy smoke rising from the building, which some reports said belongs to the FBI. Unconfirmed reports, which BNO News was not immediately able to confirm, said multiple people were trapped on the second floor of the building.
