Small plane crash kills two near New Albany, Indiana
May 3rd, 2010 - 2:11 pm ICT by BNO NewsNEW ALBANY, INDIANA (BNO NEWS) — Two people were killed when their small plane crashed near New Albany, Indiana on Sunday evening, federal officials said.
“A small plane crashed near New Albany with two people on board,” said Elizabeth Isham Cory, a spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). “Two fatal.”
The identities of those killed or who the plane was registered to was not immediately known.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will lead the investigation into the cause of the accident. The FAA will also investigate.
