tower Paris, Jun 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Taig Khris, the extreme in-line champion created a record when he jumped 41 feet from the Eiffel Tower in France. The Frenchman’s jump is the new world free fall record. The jump is 12.5 meters, almost 4 meters higher than the previous record held by American Danny Way.

After the jump, Taig Khris said he felt good and said he had not felt such a strong adrenaline rush before. According to Khris, he was motivated to jump because he wanted to send a message to everybody, that they could go beyond their limits. A massive crowd gathered at the base of the tower to watch the jump. Taig Khris jumped from the first floor of the famous French tower and botched his first attempt. “It’s about achieving the dream in generally, to show that everything is possible when you work hard.” Khris said after the record setting jump. He also added that he decided to do it so as “to give people the desire to reach beyond their limits, to follow their passions, their dreams.”

The tensed crowd that had gathered watched anxiously as Taig Khris tried again to jump. The 34 year old was finally successful at the second jump. He jumped from the first floor of the Eiffel tower, on to a giant pipe ramp, that had been built underneath the Eiffel tower.
