Six missing after barn collapses in central Ohio
August 5th, 2010 - 2:58 am ICT by BNO NewsHARTFORD, OHIO (BNO NEWS) — At least six people are missing after an egg farm collapsed in central Ohio on Wednesday, authorities said.
The collapse happened around 2.45 p.m. local time at 10573 Croton Road, according to the Licking County Sheriff’s Department, which could not provide details about the number of casualties. It happened as a line of severe storms rolled through Licking County.
The Licking County Coroner’s Office, however, said it was called to the scene. “We were told that six people are missing,” a coroner’s official said. He did not know if any deaths had been found.
According to NBC4i, at least two people had been killed.
