Six killed, five injured after gun attack at wake in Mexico’s Juarez
March 13th, 2010 - 2:35 am ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO (BNO NEWS) — At least six people were killed, including a woman, when hitmen stormed into a wake on late Thursday in Ciudad Juarez, officials said on Friday.
At least five people were also injured, according to a spokesman for the Mexican Federal Police, when the gunmen stormed the wake and opened fire against the mourners at a private home at 11:00 p.m. local time.
There was no word on age or identify of the victims from Chihuahua state prosecutors on Friday afternoon.
Ciudad Juarez was shaken by a massacre on late January, when hitmen stormed a high school party and two houses nearby, killing at least 15 people, including 10 students.
