Sioux City, IA man sentenced for crack conspiracy
March 19th, 2010 - 4:10 am ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )SIOUX CITY, IOWA (BNO NEWS) – A resident of Sioux City, Iowa was sentenced on Thursday to more than 26 years (320 months) in federal prison for conspiring to distribute 50 grams or more of crack cocaine, prosecutors announced.
Anthony Brown, 43, was previously convicted of delivery of a schedule II simulated controlled substance in 1995, and possession of a controlled substance, cocaine – second offense, in 2005.
From 2004 to February 2008, Brown admitted to be involved in a conspiracy that distributed more than 4 kilograms of crack cocaine in Sioux City.
Brown must also serve ten years of supervised release following his prison term.
