London, Aug 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A family in Hull has been warned that if they do not keep a check on their son, they could be fined £5,000. The City Council issued the order after a neighbor complained that the child was too noisy.

Simon and Pippa Lansdell have the task to keep the noisy son in check. The family is not taking the restriction on their son’s right to play lightly. They have protested against the order from the council insisting that their child is like any other four-year old.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, 35-year-old Simon angrily retorted that, “We were so shocked when we got the letter, then we just felt angry… Alfie is a lovely little boy. He likes to play football and skittles and play in his sandpit. He’s like any other four-year-old. All children create a bit of noise when they play, it’s natural.”

Simon said he has spoken to his son, Alfie, and showed him the letter so that he wouldn’t be making that much noise again when he plays. The complainant has been asked by the City Council to keep record on when Alfie breaks the noise rule.

Under the council laws, the family could be fined up to £5,000 and £500 for every day that a record shows Alfie made a noise.
