nKathmandu, Nepal, Feb 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Khagendra Thapa Magar, an 18-year-old boy from Nepal is reportedly on his way to making a Guinness World Record for his size. Khagendra Thapa Magar, who is only 22 inches tall is apparently going to break the record of He Pingping of China who is 29 inches (73 centimeters) tall.

Khagendra Thapa Magar has left Nepal with his father Rup Bahadur Thapa Magar on Sunday and is now going abroad in a bid to set a record. Rup Bahadur Thapa Magar apparently said to a source in Kathmandu that they are going to Italy in order to try to record Khagendra Thapa Magar’s name in the Guinness World Record.

Khagendra Thapa Magar as well as his family has been trying for almost 4 years to get his name recorded in the Guinness World Record book. His family initially had first appealed for this when he was 14. However, their claim was turned down as Khagendra Thapa Magar was not an adult then. There was still a chance of his growth.

However, as Khagendra Thapa Magar turned 18 and his height did not increase, he is giving a try to be a part of the Guinness World Record. According to reports, in October, they applied for a place in the Guinness World Record book, but did not receive any response. The father and the son are planning to take part in an Italian television show and speak about the issue.

According to reports, the doctors of Nepal apparently have no clue why Khagendra Thapa Magar is so short. Lots of supporters of Khagendra Thapa Magar had come on Sunday to see him off as he set off for his journey abroad.
