Jacksonville, Sep 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A popular bar in the city of Jacksonville was witness to violence on the wee hours of Friday in which around six people are known to have received injuries. Authorities have revealed that the incident took place at the Ethio’s Bar in Eastside Jacksonville in the state of Florida although the details about the circumstances that led to the shooting still remains unclear.

According to reports, all the victims who were injured in the incident were rushed to a nearby medical facility much before the cops arrived at the spot after they were intimated. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has divulged that fortunately none of the victims who have been hospitalized suffer any kind of life-threatening injuries after being shot as three of them were wounded in their legs while two were shot in their chests. While divulging the details of the incident, Lt. L.J. Gayle later told the media that it is being presumed that some kind of altercation at the bar resulted in things going really out of control and ultimately culminating into the shooting incident. However, authorities have emphasized that the circumstances leading to the shooting is still being investigated and so further details about the incident cannot be divulged at the moment.

After the incident took place at 4 a.m, the police collected evidences by talking to witnesses who were present at the bar. The area was cordoned off by the cops as large number of people gathered at the area as the officers continued with the investigations in the incident.
