Merriville, Nov. 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This year several criminal activities were reported from different parts of the country even before the malls and retail stores opened for the Black Friday discount sells. Reports of criminal activities came from some of the reputed stores located in different parts of the country. As stated by the sources, someone had shot a lady in the Meijer Store on Wednesday. Police officials investigating the case said, the lady whose age is estimated around fifty years was found in critical condition from the store and was admitted to the Southlake Campus of Methodist Hospital for surgery.

According to Joseph Petrurch, the Police Chief of Merriville, that the shooter might have followed the woman to the parking lot of the store. He speculated that the lady might have some information about the shooter. However, he could not confirm this as the lady is in critical condition. It is expected that more information regarding this case would surface once the lady comes into a stable condition and reports what has actually happened with her.

One of the witnesses who was present near the spot reported media personals about hearing a gunshot from Meijer’s parking lot. She rushed to the place and found the woman was shot by someone. Police officials investigating the case stated that the shooter had fled on a Silver Toyota 4-Runner. They are searching for the car and have also said that the car for which they are looking is expected to belong to the 2000-20006 model. Someone who has any kind of information about this case are requested to contact police department for solving the case.
