Shooting at Orlando’s Gateway Center

ORLANDO, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) — A mass shooting was reported at the Gateway Center in Orlando on Friday morning, according to fire officials.
Orlando Fire Department spokeswoman Vicky Robles told BNO News that at least eight people were injured in the shooting, which took place around 11.30 a.m. local time. Robles said four people were transported to a local trauma center in “extremely critical condition,” while four others are being triaged.
Another fire department official said a 911 call came in around 11.30 a.m. local time. The caller reported gunfire on the eighth floor, but Robles could not confirm where the shooting took place.
More victims are expected to be inside the building, the spokeswoman said. A local television reported that up to 50 paramedics were rushed to the scene. Robles said the shooter has not yet been arrested, and there is no known information on the shooter.
