Shipped From China To Canada, Kitten Survives Ordeal!

kittenCalgary, Canada, July 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The crew at Icon Store and Tiling in Calgary were shocked and surprised to see a malnourished kitten confined in it with the order of granite grabs from China. The kitten was scared and physically haggard as it was without food or water for many days. The crew however rescued the kitten from there and got it back to its normal condition. The kitten was given the name Mandarin and it looked famished with its shades of black, white and orange furs on its body.

The six months old kitten managed to survive the drudgery of its journey without any food or water for 45 days! The Canadian stuffs gave the kitten food and water to satiate its hunger and thirst. The interior designer of ICON Stone and Tile, Amy Bindman said that the orders from China take 30 to 45 days to arrive at Calgary and she was surprised to see that Mandarin could survive the journey. The interior designer also said that the crew had to empty the entire container before being able to reach the cat as it jumped and hid in a corner that was not reachable. The kitten was taken away to the Calgary Human Society thereon.

Amy Bindman also said that the cat was distressed and “very, very thin” and had been “meowing” for weeks for help. The spokesperson of Calgary Human Society, Desiree Arsenaullt said that the kitten weighed 900 grams when it arrived at the shelter and he described the surviving tale as “extremely unusual”. The kitten will spend the next few days under medical treatment where the doctors will decide if it would need any vaccination or not.
