Aug 14 (IBNS) The accountant Sheryl Weinstein had an extramarital affair with Bernard Madoff, currently a conman behind bars, whom she had blamed in public for stealing her family’s savings.

The secret has seen daylight through the book penned by the accountant, christened “Madoff’s Other Secret: Love, Money, Bernie, and Me,” all set to be published August 25 by St. Martin’s Press.

The soon-to-be released book reveals that investors aren’t the only ones Madoff has cheated and the fraudster Bernie Madoff had an affair with her.

Sheryl Weinstein has already told Bernard Madoff’s sentencing judge that the day she met the convicted swindler was the unluckiest day of her life, it was termed.

She told the judge Madoff was an “equal opportunity destroyer” and a “beast.” Ira Sorkin, a lawyer for Madoff, said Weinstein was entitled to free speech, but “why one would go public with something like that, I don’t know.”

Sheryl Weinstein is the former CFO of the Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America Inc.

Madoff is serving a 150 year sentence for carrying out the largest Ponzi scheme in history. Weinstein alleges hat she met Madoff 21 years ago. She and her husband Ronald Weinstein were also victims of Madoff’s scheme.
