London, Jan 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A British woman has notified the police that she has spotted a big cat in her home.

The 83-year-old pensioner, Sheila Noble told the police that since the New Year, she has seen the animal twice in her garden. She explained that the animal was four times the size of the domestic cat and it is believed that the cat might be a black panther that has strayed to the home.

She said that, “It was about 18 inches from the floor to the top of its head and it had the biggest yellow eyes I have ever seen. We have a lot of cats in this area but this was about four times bigger. It was eating the bird food I had left on the floor. We haven’t had many birds around lately and now I know why.”

The sighting of the animal at the home of the woman may not be that surprising. The woman lives in Derbyshire and last year alone, four sightings were reported to the police.

This year, another woman who was driving in her car spotted and reported another big cat to the authorities.
