Shamed Pastor Announces New Megachurch

June 3, (THIANDIAN NEWS) Former Megachurch pastor, who stepped down after the sex-scandal that revealed his relationship with a male prostitute, has announced his plans to start a new Megachurch in Colorado Springs.
Ted Haggard was the builder of the New life Church which was attended by 14000 people and also made him the President of the Evangelist Association. In spite of his defamation he sounded happy and cheerful while making the announcement. He addressed the media in front of his and promised that the church will be open to everyone and especially for the people who are going through a difficult phase in life.
The sex scandal showed Ted Haggard involved with Mike Jones, who is a drug dealer and prostitute.
Later Ted Haggard had accepted that he took ‘methamphetamine’ from Mike Jones and was guilty of ’sexual immorality’. But in the recent media conference he and his wife were enthusiastic about the latest developments. His wife added that they would have let the sex-scandal be the closing chapter of their lives.
A launch party for the new Megachurch has been announced at the haggard residence this Sunday. Later in the week a planning meeting has also been announced to estimate the number of members and other details.
The New Life pastor also hinted at a reality show based on the making of the new church. The motivation, according to Ted Haggard came from the scandal which completely broke him.
He said that he realized that the people who are down need a lot of help to come out of it and fight again.
