Severe Weather Affects Pittsburgh Traffic Conditions

Pittsburgh, Dec. 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Severe winter weather condition has affected Pennsylvania this weekend, causing several inconveniences to people of this region, including deteriorated road condition. Emergency crews were seen on road in order to help all commuters reach their destinations safely. However, the police officials had to declared road closure in different parts for checking number the of accidents. According to the reports, officials had to suspend bus services in some places yet it was resolved later. People who were outdoors were asked to drive cautiously so that they can avoid accidents. However, several accident reports from different parts of the state did come in.
Till the last report, there was one major road accident that claimed the life of a lady. According to police reports, a woman of about 22 years, died in Murrysville after her car lost control and hit another vehicle. Though no other death reports were confirmed on Sunday, reports of minor accidents surfaced from different parts. As the road conditions were unsafe for driving, authorities asked people to remain indoors till the road conditions improve so that they can avoid any kind of trouble.
The adverse weather condition that disturbed normal life of people led to the cancellation of events that were scheduled on Sunday. Sources stated that many churches also called off their services for the rough weather. Though the forecasters were hopeful about the rise of temperature with progress of the day, they did not ignore the chances of further fall of temperature and deterioration of the situation further. They asked people to check the road closures and follow all safety measures before coming out of home.
