Seven dead after small plane crash in Ica, Peru
February 26th, 2010 - 1:43 am ICT by BNO NewsICA, PERU (BNO NEWS) – Seven people died on Thursday after a plane crash in the Nazca province, Peru, according to local radio reports.
A Lineas de Nasca Cessna U206F carrying Peruvian and Chilean tourists crashed after doing a risky maneuver only 17 minutes after taking off, RPP reported.
Three Chilean citizens and four Peruvian, including the plane’s pilot, were killed in the accident.
The crash occurred at the South Pan-American Highway at the 425-kilometer mark.
