Serial Killer Timothy Krajcir gets life-term
April 10th, 2010 - 3:11 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattPontiac, Apr 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Serial killer who was responsible for murdering nine women in 4 different regions, has again pleaded guilty to another killing. He pleaded guilty to killing 29 years old Joyce Tharp who belonged to Paducah. The 65 years old Timothy Krajcir also confessed that he was also involved in burglary and kidnapping Joyce. Justice certainly took a long time, as he had murdered her 3 decades ago, in 1970. Prior to this sentencing he had also pleaded guilty to slaying 5 other women in southeast Missouri. Besides this, he had also pleaded guilty to another 2 murders in southern Illinois. All these murders are said to have happened in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s.
Prior to this sentencing, he had already received life sentences in other crimes. So now he has been moved from his current location of Kentucky’s McCracken County to a maximum-security prison, which is located in Pontiac. Since the early 1980’s (1983 to be precise), he has been behind bars, in relation to some sex crimes, that he had committed before.
