July 28, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Stephen Bruce happens to be a prominent restaurateur associated with the ‘Serendipity 3’ restaurant located in New York City. Serendipity 3 is a rather renowned restaurant. It observed National Hot Dog Day on July 23 by preparing a unique hot dog. The hot dog was prepared by merging a meat tube, which was almost a ‘foot long’, with such unquestionably unconventional appurtenances as black truffles, Dijon mustard, truffle oil, Vidalia onions, ketchup and foie gras. These appurtenances were positioned on a pretzel roll grilled in white truffle butter.

This hot dog was acquired by 40-year-old Trudy Tant. What also makes this hot dog exceptional is that Tant purchased it for over $69. A representative of Guinness World Records, Kimberly Patrick, was there to witness this historic moment. Patrick instantaneously bestowed the ownership of the record of the costliest hot dog to Serendipity 3. Patrick mentioned that there existed no former titleholder in this category.

Actually, what happened was that Tant was outside Serendipity 3 on July 23. She was subsequently requested by Stephen Bruce to fork out her cash on the abovementioned costly hot dog.
