New Orleans, Mar 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Douglas Schantz, the president of the company Sequent Energy Management LLP who went missing a few days back has been traced though he is no longer alive. His corpse was traced in Mississippi river and the New Orleans police have said he possibly died after getting drowned. He disappeared unexpectedly on Friday and attempts of his family members and colleagues to reach out to him did not yield any fruitful result. It is not known how and why he died but that will be clear once the autopsy is performed. The cops have revealed that his dead body was found with his personal belongings.

Douglas Schantz was seen for the last time on Friday near a bar after which he could not be traced. Some video footage captured of him show that he was moving to the river and also approached a boat. A firm named Texas Equusearch traced him using sophisticated sonar equipment. The US coast guard also assisted them. The colleagues as well as the family of the dead energy executive said that he was not behaving normally from the time he went missing. Neither did he receive the phone calls nor did he attend a meeting of his company.

The co-workers of the late energy president said that his behavior at the time of going incognito was strange for a person like him. The son and wife of the late president are still in shock. It is not clear if any crime is related to his death. Apart from the Police, the FBI is going to investigate this case.
