Oct.22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Semion Mogilevich has been put up in the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s list of the top ten most wanted men. Semion is a sixty three year old businessman of Russian origin. He earned a degree in business from the Lviv University. He is a man with extreme business acumen. His aptitude for business earned him the title of the “Brainy Don.”
The FBI sent out a warrant for Semion Mogilevich on the grounds of a multi million dollar swindling scheme. The warrant was sent out also for Igor L’Vovich Fisherman and Anatoli Tsoura, who were also allegedly parts of the fraud scheme. The troika allegedly pulled off a grand fraud scheme that made the investors lose the huge sum of an estimated $650. The company they had reportedly cheated is the Canadian company YBM Magnex.
Mogelivich is presently believed to be in Moscow. A prize of $100,000 has been put up on his head. He is considered by the United States Police to be one of the deadliest gangsters of all time. His name is on the FBI list of most wanted criminals alongside the likes of Osama Bin Laden and others.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation reports that Mogilevich reportedly deals in contract murders, extortion and trafficking of weapons, drugs and women. The FBI, however, cannot bring charges against him as they do not have the jurisdiction to arrest someone on the basis of crimes committed in other countries.
Mogilevich also faces almost forty other charges of wire and mail fraud, laundering of money, racketeering and a multitude of other economic crimes in various countries.
