Security forces arrest suspected terrorist in Baghdad
August 23rd, 2009 - 10:39 pm ICT by BNO NewsBAGHDAD (BNO NEWS) — The Iraqi Emergency Response Brigade arrested a suspected terrorist in Baghdad on Thursday, the U.S. military said on Sunday.
The elite police force was operating under the authority of a warrant issued by the Criminal Investigative Court of Karkh. U.S. military advisors assisted during the operation.
The suspect is allegedly affiliated with insurgent groups and wanted for facilitating and conducting sniper attacks against Iraqi security forces operating in the area.
