Manchester, July 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) An English scholar claims that he has accidentally discovered a hidden code in the original writings of one of the renowned scholars in the history of mankind - Plato.
Plato was an ancient Greek scholar who contributed immensely to science and mathematics. However the scholar says he found the particular code after every 12 lines of passage. He said the original scroll discussed music after every 12 lines of passage and the scholar believes it was meant to send a coded message to his readers.
The scholar - Jay Kennedy said the findings did suggest that Plato was a Pythagorean. The Pythagoreans were not tolerated in the ancient Greece, because their teachings and believes contradict most of the teachings and cultural believes of the ancient Greece. This made Plato careful in revealing his true nature as somebody who believed in the teachings of Pythagoras than in the Greek tradition.
“The Pythagoreans realized that when we hear beauty and music, when we hear notes harmonizing, that’s because the notes have simple ratios, like 1:2 or 3:4. So the beauty of music is direct perception of the mathematical order underlying the world. They worshiped that mathematics,” according to Jay Kennedy.
One famous scholar who suffered for being a Pythagorean was Socrates, who was the teacher of Plato. Most mathematicians and philosophers fled from Greece to avoid being persecuted, but Plato intelligently sent his message across to his followers.
