School Teacher Melissa Petro Admits Being A Former Sex Worker

Sep 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) An elementary school teacher has been reassigned from her job after school authorities found out that she was a former stripper and prostitute. Melissa Petro was an art teacher at a New York school for three long years but the school authorities did not have any clue about her past life. However, revelations about her past life came to light after the 30-year-old former sex worker wrote an article on an online news source in which she criticized the online portal, Craigslist for removing one of its services that comprised of sex-related advertising.
Not only did Melissa Petro have harsh words for Craigslist owing to its decision of removing the ‘adult services’ section, she also confessed to have used the online portal to earn money by providing sexual services to men. The former stripper reveals through the article that from October 2006 till the month of January next year, she met men through Craigslist which enabled her to earn money in lieu of sexual services she provided to them. Melissa Petro further went on to state that she found being sex worker ‘physically demanding, emotionally taxing and spiritually bankrupting’ and so she gave it up after a while.
It seems that the revelations about the 30-year-old prostitute turned art teacher’s past life has not gone down too well with the authorities of the Bronx based Public School 70 as she has been reassigned after she made tales of her sexual escapades public. Meanwhile, the Department of Education has stated that the case would be considered by Richard Condon who is the head of the Office of Special Investigations.
